Red Wing Pottery has a rich history and has had many different names over the years. Red Wing is a name that was given to the settlement of European settlers in the 1800's by one of the greatest chiefs of the Dakotah Nation. Stoneware made using the clay around Red Wing was used to create items like crocks and jugs, sewer pipes, flower pots, art pottery and dinnerware. This cream pitcher with a rose on it is the Lexington pattern and it was made from 1942 to 1955. Measures approximately 7" long by 3" wide by 3-1/2" tall. Good pre-owned condition.
